GUCCI: MILAN FASHION WEEK 2015, BACKSTAGE GIRLS
See backstage pictures from Gucci’s spring/summer 2015 show.
After the strong 60’s feel of her A/W show Giannini took a firm stomp towards the 70’s for Spring/Summer 15, with three vintage inspired visions of the Gucci woman. There was a little bit of Boho rock chick with heavily patterned and embellished dresses, bursts of fur, and that twist of antique military- something a little Sergeant Pepper. There were also smarter exits which presented a vintage notion of perfectly put together-something deliberately bourgeois, in neat little dresses and coats set off with foulards precisely tied around the neck. Finally in contrast to all of this, several glittering exits inspired by the kimono with a pretty blatant kind of sex appeal. Best worn on a wicker throne ala Emmanuelle we reckon.
